Index cards are cool

You know when you have a great idea, and the idea is so good that you stop and record it on your phone because you know you will forget it. And when you do forget it, still, you're not concerned because it is saved somewhere, and then inevitably your phone battery explodes, and you lose everything. That doesn't happen with index cards.
